How this works...
The Son
Texas Senate Bill 22 went into effect in September of 2025, making millions of dollars of incentives available to the film industry, setting the stage for significant increases in activity in the Texas film industry. Production companies will use a wide variety of vehicles, ranging from period-correct vehicles for a movie set in a certain era, to late-model vehicles in present day settings, to the unusual and extreme in an action series.
Listing with Texas Movie Cars is FREE. All makes and models are welcome.
If you have interest in submitting your vehicle for movie use, we can help. Send us 2 exterior and 1 interior photo of your submission along with a few details and we'll post it on our website. We are now registered with the Texas Film Commission, making our registry available to an unlimited number of potential movie makers looking to find the right vehicles for their project.
Production companies will have their own budget for picture cars. Rates will vary depending on how the vehicle is used. If your vehicle is selected for use, we will negotiate with the production company in exchange for a flat fee of $150, payable at the time the vehicle's use begins. Owners have final approval before negotiations are closed.
